Product Description

Osartil is an antihypertensive medication belonging to the class of angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs). It is primarily used to treat Hypertension and to reduce the risk of stroke and kidney damage, especially in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. It works by blocking the action of angiotensin II, a substance that causes blood vessels to constrict, thereby helping blood vessels relax and lower blood pressure. Losartan is taken orally and is generally well tolerated, though side effects may include dizziness, fatigue, and increased potassium levels.
