Product Description

Citofer, which contains ferric citrate, is an iron-based medication used to treat Iron Deficiency Anemia and to control high phosphate levels in patients with Chronic Kidney Disease. It works by providing iron for the production of hemoglobin, which helps improve oxygen transport in the body, and by binding dietary phosphate in the gut to reduce its absorption.
