D-rise contains Vitamin D3, also known as cholecalciferol, which is a fat-soluble vitamin that plays a vital role in calcium and phosphorus homeostasis, which is essential for maintaining strong bones and teeth. It is uniquely synthesized in the skin through exposure to ultraviolet B (UVB) radiation from sunlight, though it can also be obtained through dietary sources like fatty fish, egg yolks, and fortified foods.
