Indications:This combination cream is used for inflamed skin conditions with fungal or bacterial infection, such as infected eczema, intertrigo, dermatitis (atopic, contact or seborrheic), perianal and genital dermatitis, and acne-associated eczema. It is effective against dermatophytes, Candida species and some Gram-positive bacteria.Pharmacology:Miconazole is an antifungal agent that inhibits ergosterol synthesis, disrupting fungal cell membranes and causing fungal death. Hydrocortisone is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, itching and redness by suppressing inflammatory mediators.Dosage and Administration:Apply a thin layer to the affected area 2–4 times daily for 1–2 weeks. Gently rub until absorbed. Continue treatment for at least one week after symptoms disappear. Suitable for both adults and children.Drug Interactions:Amphotericin may reduce the effectiveness of miconazole.Contraindications:Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any component. Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only under medical advice.Side Effects:Generally mild. Rarely, local irritation or sensitivity may occur. Long-term use may suppress adrenal function.Pregnancy and Lactation:Use with caution during pregnancy. Avoid excessive or prolonged use.
